Introduction

In order to manage our data, answer data related questions in a timely manner, and perform the yearly data inventory, it is necessary to maintain well defined roles. This document will outline the roles of:

• Data Coordinators: Department-level project managers responsible for driving data inventory forward

• Data Stewards: Individuals in charge of specific databases, datasets, or data systems

• Data Custodians: or database administrator are individuals that assist with the technical implementation of data projects.
