Dataset

Contents of a single database table, worksheet or defined view; data is provided as a single combination of unique rows (or records) and corresponding columns (or fields) describing that row

Data System

A tool or platform which contains collection of datasets. This could be a traditional database (e.g. Oracle, Azure, AWS), a collection of spreadsheets (e.g. Excel), an information system (e.g Salesforce), or a business application

Data Coordinator

Data Coordinators are each department's project manager for the data inventory. They serve as the main point of contact and accountability for open data in their department and collaborate with their department's Data Stewards (dataset owners) to perform the inventory. More info .
